I went to Romania for the Conference of the Observatoire Européen du Plurilinguisme on May 23-24, 2019, and presented the challenge of multilingualism for pay-managing human-resources technicians. I was able to meet Serban V.C. Enache and see the ailing city of Bucharest that had not yet been reconstructed since the 1977 Vrancea earthquake (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_earthquakes_in_Romania)

And that is when and how I discovered IFIASA. What attracted me to them?

First of all, their spirituality, in their case their Orthodox Christianity. […]

Second, the emphasis they set on science, technology, and knowledge as constructs of humanity, human beings in their daily life.  […]

Third, this last fact or competency opens the door to communication. We are at least 300,000 BCE. The road will be long but this communicational competency will make Homo Sapiens literate in the languages they speak, literate in technology, science, and other knowledge, and literate in spirituality.  […]

Any “invention” is nothing but the extension of something that existed before and evolves into what emerges from it.

Jacques Coulardeau uploaded a paper

This is a 389-page book collecting only articles published in peer-reviewed journals in Romania. Plus one in Paris for a paper presented at a Bucharest conference in May 2019. My last long distance trip was in July 2019, thank you COVID-19, Satan as Léo Ferré would say.
