Charles Aznavour as the gift to music lovers

MUSIC NEVER ENDS REVISITED
https://www.academia.edu/37681974/MUSIC_NEVER_ENDS_REVISITED

Abstract:

Music is an adventure. It can choke your life out of touch with the world. It can build around you and in your mind a world that is so real you may even forget to breathe. And music is at its best when voices tell a story haunted by the music itself. I even think that ballet is even more powerful since it offers the audience the bodies of the dancers for this audience to admire them, dream of them, desire them within the shrine of the dramatic story told by the voices and wrapped up in the music itself.

Post Screen Obsession Stress Syndrome

SCREEN OBSESSION AND MENTAL ENTANGLEMENT

Abstract:

CINEMA AND TELEVISION RECLUSION
Published Research (March 2013 to today) and
[Reviews (02/02/2016 to 10/24/2018) see annex at the end]
Dr. Jacques COULARDEAU

Cinema and television are obsessional for me and there is no way to get out of this Post Screen Obsessional Stress Syndrome. I enjoy it so much I could not survive without my dose every day.
I found the best description of this obsession in Marshall McLuhan and his extensions of man’s psyche, nervous system, mind and body. The cinema has become a way to discover the world the way it is where I cannot go and in its past reality and its future dystopia or utopia.
It provides me with a main way to think and meditate in an all-sensorial approach of life. I mean all my senses are at work in such an experience, not the way McLuhan says about television (all your senses have to agree and feel comfortable with what they see at once from the very start) but in my own way: all senses are active all the time on high alert and intensively connected with my thinking virtual device, my mind and my knowledge.
It is also the way to experience very deep feelings, emotions, even passions and fears within the time frame of that experience knowing that when the watching comes to an end this intense state of excitement will reach its own closure, though I can reopen it any time by plugging myself into another film, another episode of another series.
I have here collected several chapters centering on one series or one filmmaker or any other unitary element. Some of these chapters are in fact short introductions with links to full files in the cloud. You just have to click on the links to go to the files. I have also collected more than ninety reviews of independent films or series not covered here. This set of more than ninety reviews is in free open access on Academia.edu at https://www.academia.edu/37660324/Screen_obsession_REVIEWS

Screen obsession REVIEWS

MISCELLANEOUS REVIEWS FROM FEBRUARY 2, 2016 TO OCTOBER 27, 2018

Abstract:
Cinema and television have become obsessions in us over the years and today with the large flat screen we have, with a universal, all zone and all standard DVD and Bluray reader we can access all the films that are available in the whole world on a material or virtual digital medium directly at home.
In the following pages I have collected all the reviews published on various sites, particularly various Amazon national branches over about the last thirty-two months. It is the accompanying companion of a book published on its own on the same site under the title “Screen Obsession and Mental Entanglement.”
Be sure I also have plenty of music, operas, books and other cultural artifacts in the field of research and reviews (I recently finished a 13,000 word article on Benjamin Britten’s operas), plus creative writing (the latest poetry volume is An Untellable Story, A Dramatic Confession, The Nineteen stations of Saraphic Love, Amazon Kindle, ASIN B00UP4CX88)  and at the same time I go on with my basic research on the phylogeny of language with Homo Sapiens over the last 250,000 years, plus the psychogenesis of language in our modern world from before birth to adult age.
This to say cinema and television are like hobbies for me when I get into screen reclusion, at least a couple of hours a day, not to speak of pure computer work.
For you to be able to find what is in this volume I have built a full table of contents with page numbers. Have a good navigation.

Permanent Post Traumatic Resistance

Dystopic Trauma
The Man In The High Castle — Frank Spotnitz — Philip K. Dick — The Man In The High Castle — 1962 — Tv Series Seasons 3–2018

We finally got that third season and that was a great event, an immense pleasure and some kind of absolute satisfaction. Of course the man in the high castle is a reference in the background and this reference becomes more and more metaphorical but he is a concept, the concept that something exists in man that is so irrepressible that no matter what, when and where it will find its way out and express itself publicly even if in some clandestine way, meaning anonymous as for the author who is running away from some kind of repression. Copyright is the only protection for intellectual property

In this 3,297-word article, I summarize the main idea of the book Freedom of Expression and Copyright, The Foundations of All liberties I have published in two volumes.
·  First my research, analysis, and discussion of documents ranging from 1100 to 2016 in a Kindle Book (492 pages, 154,663 words, ASIN: B06XNJZ4W6) available in the Kindle Stores of all Amazon sites.
·  Second all the documents from 1100 to 2016 considering essentially England/United Kingdom, and then the USA.(manuscript of 550 pages, 442,835 words) available (without the documents the research is not understandable) in free open access at

This original article on Medium.com considers the situation at the global level and the confrontation of the two basic systems of first copyright in most of the world and second authors’ rights in France and a few other countries.
The stake is the protection of the moral rights of authors. The French-carried system makes them central whereas the American system covers their protection with Fair Use and Common Law.
Most European countries, including Russia, have chosen a compromise with the basic system of copyright to which they have added some articles to define and protect moral rights.
A confrontation is bound to happen in the world but since Europe refuses (under the influence of the French) to negotiate with the main Copyright supporter (the USA) in the name of Cultural Exception and Cultural Diversity, the only arena where it will take place is the global market of Intellectual Property and that will bring the French-carried system to the brink of collapse sooner or later particularly with authors and other artists and creators concerned by copyright who will shift their works to a country working with copyright, particularly the USA.
And they won’t even need to emigrate to the USA because intellectual property can circulate from the creator to the “publisher” virtually and the contract is international. Too bad for Trump. But the French – and the Europeans – may have to cry one day though. Note the British have a totally different copyright law.

Free and yet enslaved though fully liberated poetry

Psychedelic Motley Polychromatic Rainbow-colored Poetry
https://www.academia.edu/37617758/Psychedelic_Motley_Polychromatic_Rainbow-colored_Poetry

Abstract:

The poet is a visionary tortured being who cannot see the future otherwise than blocked by his past frustrations and his present impulses.
Yet he foresees what may come no matter how catastrophic it might be. His vision is the truth for him and the few people who can plug their minds onto this shortcircuited tsunami or water turbine.
Most of the poetry excerpted or exhibited in this excursion has been published since 2010, with few exceptions. The most interesting aspect is the total enjoyment of suffering and the absolute painful experience of pleasure.
The poet is upside down and like William Blake he takes the first shuttle from the first loom and turns it inside out into some trans-shuttle from nowhere, from out of space, from out of mind.
Enter this forest and be sure I dedicate every single tree of it to Ivan, Kévin, Gynil and maybe, after all, why not Doumé, not to mention Michel, Antoine, Annunzio and Lucretia.

Ranting, Panting, Raving and Craving

THE RANTING BEAUTY OF RAVING MAD
https://medium.com/@JacquesCoulardeau/ranting-raving-and-panting-61e6e605da6d

We, Ivan and I, are so deeply dipped into Asian reality and the future of this planet that after a while we do not know what is happening around us, if some in this world are dumb enough to set the world afire just for the privilege of pretending they will never accept to become number two, or even number three within five to ten years. The same are ready to do the same thing just to keep their white supremacy in their own countries where ethnic and religious minorities are little by little crawling up the social ladder and becoming the global majority in these western havens of all kinds of fundamentalist, bigot, racist, sexist extremists who are just frightened by the perspective of having to share power with people of color or Muslims.

So we live divided between the beauty of ranting and imagining what the world may become tomorrow and the madness of raving what those who are on the decline may cause to that world tomorrow morning after a night of sleepless twitting.

One has the justified right to be afraid.
One has the right and the duty to dream.
One has the right to believe in love and happiness.

A Review by Șerban V.C. Enache

Before getting to the book, that I highly recommend, just read some press coverage from Sri Lanka and Asia.
Asia is defying Trump by getting more and more self-motivated and self-contained and by developing cooperation with all those who want to do it on a fair loyal multilateral basis. Meetings are multiplying from Vladivostok (September 11, 2018) to Colombo (October 14, 2018), not to mention Hanoi (September 12, 2018) et Beijing (8 international Scientific or industrial conferences announced to be held until the end of December 2018).
And the two Korean leaders are defying Trump too and putting him down on his fat knees in front of their own decisions and policies.
If Europe could seize the day, you know Carpe Diem, their future would be brilliantly successful instead of being dragged down and humiliated by the braggart, bragger, line-shooter, vaunter, bull trumpeting bugler in Washington DC.

Trafalgar Square hasn't change for me since 1960

TRAFALGAR SQUARE
UNDER THE PAWS OF THE LIONS

(ILYA & VANYA)

Jacques COULARDEAU

IN LIFE THE WORST CHALLENGE IS A LOVING DIVORCE

Two strange birds one day meet along an avenue in a big city, two strange birds of a feather, Ilya and Vanya. An explosion of red relish shakes their minds while an implosion of blue bliss enthuses their hearts. Attraction, appeal, love and fear entrap their souls and throw them down into a dark adventure in some no man’s land, some wasteland they have never visited and they have kept fallow, plowed but unseeded, for an unspecified future that has so far never come.
Fate today resolves to generously fertilize and sow these territories of theirs with the fire of sanguine love and the lure of supine fear. Their love is so powerful that they hate it. Their fear is so compelling and consuming, overwhelming and uncontrollable that pain and torment stoop down and conquer their blood and flesh.
Till the day everything gets into Sour Distressfulness and Miserable Sweetness . . .

Nothing is more hermetic than Biblical Hebrew

God is Life in Mind and Body
Dr. JOEL M. HOFFMAN — AND GOD SAID — 2010

I will not be arrogant enough to pretend I know as much biblical Hebrew as the author. That would be a lie. But I am surprised the author does not know the work of his colleague Robert Eisenman who has beyond any doubt established the Dead Sea Scrolls were contemporary of Jesus Christ, and his brother James — twice thrown over the walls of Jerusalem and the second time stoned to death on the order in both cases from the Temple itself — was the main teacher quoted in them. […]

CAN A CHILD SURVIVE PEDOPHILIA?
https://www.academia.edu/37541342/CAN_A_CHILD_SURVIVE_PEDOPHILIA

Abstract:

James Crittle, a famous pilot of the French Air Force, later turned university professor, on February 18, 2015, was found dead in full uniform Rue Montmartre in Paris. He had used some cyanide to put an end to his life. The French Air Force took over his funeral in Bordeaux, but Joseph and Magdalena Seth, two young people who had been his friends up to three years before when James Crittle stepped out of their life without any explanation, hearing the news on the radio decided to claim his body since he had no known direct relatives.

Toput le mystère est sous la perruque

Baron-Cyrano-Besset-Du Voyeur au Visionnaire
https://www.academia.edu/37536952/Baron-Cyrano-Besset-Du_Voyeur_au_Visionnaire

Abstract:
Michel Baron, nous le redécouvrons et nous sommes frappés du mystère qui l’entoure. Découverte et promotion par Molière à la fin de sa vie, il devient le confident, l’élève et le successeur de Molière après sa mort sur scène. Il reprend le rôle du Malade Imaginaire, parce que « the show must go on ».
