garden keeps in its earth the memory of the universe and as such the poet, some
might say the shaman, or some others might intimate the philosopher, but
certainly not the populist history-writer, may be able to reveal that past and
what it means for the future. So let's get on a trip in poetry that leads us
directly to Abraham and Ishmael.
