The eternally gay dandy

Eternal Dandyism

Oscar Wilde has tremendously aged in his dandyism and soft gayness, and what's more, his very sweet satire of the British aristocracy in London is pathetic and so mellow that we just wonder what it is about. They are lost between marriage and jealousy, idleness and farniente, pleasure and ethics. Poor dear me, myself and I! Just let them work a little bit and they may see the world through different yes.
But it is always enjoyable in the dark of the night to make us afraid of ending in a social cul-de-sac. Be a duchess of anything and you can't even peel your potatoes.
