2019, Une Vaste Vallée de Larmes ?
L’année 2019 sera ce qu’elle voudra bien être,
Et probablement pas grand-chose.
Comme Cohn Bendit, et pour un peu la même raison,
Le jaune ne convient pas à mon intégrité.
Même quand c’est le filet jaune de la Cavalerie,
Américaine bien sûr, grande tueuse d’Indiens
Quand vous recevrez ces vœux les jaunes seront déjà
Passés au vestiaire, et auront déjà pris une douche.
Il est bien plus facile de croire que la rue nous gouverne
Quand, comme dans toutes les jungles, les lions
Et parfois quelques tigres et panthères font la loi.
En 1968 les salaires ont augmenté en moyenne de 13%
En 1969 l’inflation a simplement repris ces 13%
Et le chômage a commencé à grimper

The year 2019 will be what it decides to be,
And probably nothing to brag about.
Like Cohn Bendit, and mostly for the same reason,
Yellow does not fully match my integrity.
Even when it is the yellow stripe of the Cavalry
American of course, the great Indian killing machine
When you receive these Greetings the yellows will already
Be in the locker room or under a shower.
It’s a lot easier to believe the street governs us
When, like in all jungles, lions,
At times tigers and panthers dictate the laws.
In 1968 wages went up an average 13%
In 1969 inflation just simply took these 13% back
And unemployment started to rise
A machine tool was cheaper than the minimum wage
It is necessary to enact reforms or just plain die
But what’s essential is to be willing to reach
A compromise that goes in the right direction
Our country, day after day, is lingering behind
And plain human intelligence should tell us
Let’s hurry up if we do not want to die gaping for air
We signed the Paris Agreement and now we must
Plain and simple implement it or do like Trump
And sulk in our little outhouse while the bulldozer
Of climate instability menaces us with forced suicide
If we could shed less tears on our fate
And cultivate more our fruit and vegetable garden
We would certainly be less miserable

You can be true, but it is all corrupt
The True Detective in Trumpic marshy cesspool
First season in New Orleans, fascinating. Second season in Vinci, California, a pale imitation of Los Angeles, totally disappointing. And the symbolism is excruciating. The three men in the five-people band of justice-makers are plainly killed at the end and only two women of this pentacle of self-appointed afficionados of justice survive in, mind you, the capital city of Venezuela. That kind of ending is absurd but it is teh perfect triumph of corruption, and in 2016 that was the announcement of the coming of the most trumpic monsters to Washington that is supposed to be the Bethlehem of democracy and is becoming the pantry of fake capricious whimsical dictatorship without the nerve to proclaim it, even if they declare themselves proud of closing up the governement, though they will not dare.

Puritans and Liberty are quite antonymic
Thomas Hobbes is first of all a Puritan
I would say that Hobbes' obsession with the senses is coming from his Puritan religious thinking. Sin is necessarily in the senses. Man is a sinner because he is dominated by his senses. At the same time man is nothing in front of God, though he was created in his image, because he is only a bunch of sensual, sensory sensations and he does not have the mind of God, just a divine soul that enables him to see the truth of God that he has to accept and obedience is the first and final quality of this puritan man. Note we find that kind of attitude in Bach too. Descartes is not different since he wants to prove by the development of science that the creation of God is perfect, and this perfection is the proof of the existence of God as a creator.
Aristotle was a pagan for Hobbes and as such missed the real point that man is nothing in the hand of God and that the senses or nothing but illusionary means of not knowing anything. Think of Plato and his famous cavern: man can only know what he can imagine about the shadows of the real world he captures in his cave of ignorance. Aristotle's dialectics must have been some kind of crime against God for Hobbes. How can there be one truth, then its opposite truth and then the final synthesis of these two becoming the truth in the end? Same thing with Descartes who is looking for the ultimate concept, the ultimate truth that stands beyond his sensory impressions and has to be deducted from these contradictory sensory impressions. and this pure unitary concept is the ultimate proof of the existence of God the creator of the world.
The materialism of these people is the result of the belief the world was created by God. God is a pure spiritual being, but his creation is pure matter. The materialism of these people in the 17th century was the result of their complete belief that the material world was perfect because it had been created by a pure spiritual force called God. Stephen King is the antidote of all bad things in this life. I hope Trump is reading "Misery" to see what the future is promising him since he believes he is the nurse of the world. Welcome to Hell on earth.
And I hope the devilish extreme right authoritarian anti-immigrant Marine ( an armada just in her name) Le Pen (and it is all in the color of the ink of this pen, black, black, black, Ooops! Red, red, red), I hope she will tell the world that the extreme right did not win in the Netherlands, and it did not win in France, and it did not win in Greece, in Italy, in Spain, in Portugal. It won’t win in Germany. Only England (and northern England at that) is falling for the new Tudor Queen that some call Kim Jing May.
So, get to Stephen King and enjoy the defeat of evil that is alas never forever defeated and will always resuscitate even from the hot pit and oven of burning hell.

Romania is not so far away, but it is such a long way to go there and for Romania to come here. They are in Europe with all the other romance-language countries of Europe, but it has not adopted the Euro - YET??? - but Serban Enache has a position of his own on the subject. Get out of the Euro, which Romania cannot do of course.
That's why he is a heretic: he defends for others a religion he cannot defend for himself: he definitely cannot get out of the Euro, and he does not know really all the pleasure it would bring him. Look at the exhilarating banquet of sweetbreads and tough meats they are trying to chew in England - note Scotland, not Wales and not Northern Ireland who did not want to have that Roman orgy - before ever being able to digest them. Brexit means Brexit, doesn't it? And particularly "breaxing" all your teeth and dentures on the Bone of May while dancing around the Maypole on the Village square on the village green.

Let's learn about cyber war in kindergarten
Cyber War, the new Cold War explained to children
To teach Internet security to children can be very tricky.
The following comic books are typical of a strict enforcement of century-old rules in the USA: “Do not speak to strangers.” “Do not accept anything from strangers.” This approach here, particularly in the first volume, is sexist (for boys only), and color-blind, which means racist, still again in the first volume only. The second volume corrects this sexism with two females, one positive, the other negative, just like the men, and the afore-mentioned racism with a black woman on the good side with a Latino name. But the second volume centers on a trinity of good agents who are a slightly modified version of the Christian Trinity, hence something that cannot speak the same way to everyone and is intended to speak to Christian children.
But the worst shortcoming is the vision of cyberwar in cyberspace as nothing but a new Cold War that opposes the good Americans to all the bad ones outside this American pale. To thus train and knead children’s minds into believing that everyone outside one’s small certified friendly circle is bad and evil is the worst possible service rendered to the world, history, civilization. The result is in the making: The Internet is becoming more and more shattered by such imperialism from the narrow-minded circle of those in America who believe they are the only ones who are right, just, good, angelic and of course stable and genial.
There is a lot more to do in that direction to bring the younger – and why not the older – generations to a full commitment to and understanding of human civilization based on human values: open-mindedness, empathy, love, diversity and equanimity.

la fin d'un travail de recherche sur le théâtre parisien et Jean-Marie Besset
j'ai rencontré sa, dernière pièce et le DVD qui va avec sur Jean Moulin, le
héros de la Résistance Française contre les Nazis.
Descendre dans les profondeurs de l'être d'un homme qui est devenu un mythe, c'est comme tomber amoureux de Jésus comme Jean ou Marc le firent, de son vivant bien sûr.
Mais dans ce cas Jean Moulin est mort, alors pourquoi metttre en perspective son homosexualité?
Parce que cela révèle la grandeur du héros qui trouva la force de mourir sous la torture et déporté sans dire un mot car toute sa vie il a caché ses désirs les plus profonds et il a frustré ses plaisirs les plus basiques, existentiels, vitaux.
Entrez dans le monde du théâtre et suivez tous les liens vers les racines les plus malconnues de l'être d'un critique de théâtre qui ne trouve son plaisir que dans la frustration d'un spectacle qui ne saurait jamais être la vie réelle.

Une saison pour des cadeaux
L’heure est venue de regarder en avant et non pas
derrière nous. Pourtant rien ne semble être porteur de lumière et de joie dans
ce monde. Les symboles sont tous mélangés et croisés de travers et en biais. Le
jaune était un symbole de ségrégation et antisémitisme et certains en font un
symbole du non-changement, ou d’un piétinement furieux en vue de ne pas bouger
et de rester sur place. Trump est aux anges puisque ce mouvement jaune « prouve
que l’Accord de Paris est mauvais ».
Aussi prenez un peu de recul juste pour une minute
et essayez de vous sortir de ce traquenard et de vous demander comment nous
pouvons réaliser l’ambition de l’accod de Paris. La Chine ferme ses mines et
remplace le charbon par du gaz naturel. Elle réduit l’impact de la voiture au
diesel ou à l’essence et booste la voiture électrique, et nous ne sommes même pas
capables de voir que notre position anti-changement est suicidaire de notre
part.
Oui, prenons un pas de recul devant ce problème et essayons
de trouver d’autres sujets, d’autres enjeux, d’autres fictions que nous
puissions lire et apprécier et qui pourraient nous protéger des frictions, tensions
et agitations pour ne pas dire aliénations.

Abstract:
Je dédie ce poème à tous ceux qui m’ont permis de me relever du
sol le jour de Thanksgiving, Jeudi 22 novembre 2018. Au plus bas dans mon
errance mentale, le troisième jour, un Samaritain, qui devait être bon, me
releva et me rendit l’espoir que je pourrais encore marcher malgré
l’abandon dans lequel je me réfugiais. Le sixième jour et la sixième nuit
virent une aggravation brutale de la situation qui fut prise en main par le
même Samaritain qui me fit passer l’étape de la sagesse salomonique sans couper
le bébé en deux, puis du septain de l’achèvement qui déboucha la huitième nuit
sur une seconde venue ouvrant la porte et la voie à l’affrontement de la vie et
de Belial le neuvième jour, à la fois le dragon et la bête, de la vie
réelle.
Que tous soient ici remerciés pour ce qui fut pour moi une apocalypse réussie. Language evolved from communication, not genes
Chomsky’s
Innate Black Box is secular creationism
Daniel Everett takes a strong stand
against the innate theory of Chomsky that language is nothing but, and he
insists on that nothing but, a universal grammar in an innate black box in
man's brain installed there by a genetic mutation. Language is for Chomsky the
product of that grammar-gene.
Of course, it is unreasonable. Communication is the word. It started long before Hominins but the first really bipedal upright Hominin, Homo Erectus, who was also the first migrating Hominin had to have developed a high level of communication. That's Everett's main point.
I would just add that the communicational situation in which Hominins found themselves provided them with the matrix of our linguistic syntax. That's my argument that only amplifies Everett's argument.
