Don't be the SLAVES of Western media

SLAV FEVER FOREVER

https://jacquescoulardeau.medium.com/slav-fever-forever-f4bfc90b00f5

I just published SLAV FEVER FOREVER. No prediction is possible. After all, the French did not get the Soccer World Cup. So the vast unity of the Slav people seems difficult to predict but to predict it will not happen with some exceptions is just as vain. But even if the one or the other do not happen Russian culture and music are there to stay and prosper because they are the voice of some very orthodox God. It is also deeply inhabited by suffering, deprivation, and loss, and that makes this culture universal and it pushes its roots deep into some of the most important migrations of Homo Sapiens out of Black Africa a long time ago. So the dramatic events in Ukraine are just the latest cycle of violence between the Ukrainians and the Russians that has occurred for at the very least one millennium. You may think today such cycles should be dead but they are not just like the cycle of climate change, and such cycles are a lot more pregnant about the future than all the rhetorical blah blah in various parliaments and congresses.  https://link.medium.com/RTiLCihYRvb

Fairy Tale or Dropout Nightmare

International Journal of Theology, Philosophy and Science

https://jacquescoulardeau.medium.com/international-journal-of-theology-philosophy-and-science-ef9296495613

The 11th issue of the International Journal of Theology, Philosophy, and Science has just come out with half a dozen articles. Enjoy the free open-access reading. Six articles, six authors and six topics from Stephen King (Fairy Tale) to early school leaving, often seen as “dropout,”  failure in the lack of motivation, intellectual means, interest or simply the excessive boredom developing in the students. But in our modern societies we may have something like 20% of social dropouts. That’s a lot. They can of course get into a Fairy Tale with the king of horror about the possibility to live with a universal income or some social welfare state, as long as 80% of the society they live in are willing to pay for the 20% of marginal dropouts and flunkies definitely seen as lazy bums. Those are the two brackets of the issue and in-between a lot of goodies, like Christmas chocolates on the coffee table in front of the TV broadcasting some Christmas tale about some reformed Scrooge

Getting old if not aged is difficult for Bono

Hard 2 Come 2 A Christian End 4 U2

https://jacquescoulardeau.medium.com/hard-2-come-2-a-christian-end-4-u2-fac9ee67e3fc

I just published Hard 2 Come 2 A Christian End 4 U2. They are so Christian, mostly Catholic and partly Protestant, that they seem to be unable to go beyond Christian love and Christian ethics to reach real empathy and the visionary spirituality of Jesus. It is difficult to make the difference between the symbolic Jesus hanging on his cross in a church and the human Jesus who loved his family, his friends, his disciples, and even of course and naturally his enemies to the point that we can maybe imagine Jesus did not have enemies, only obstacles on the road of his mission, obstacles that had to be negotiated and detoured. The more I think of it and of the dilemma of U2 in this world of ours, the more I find it difficult to bring together the cautious and open approach of the war in Ireland before the Good Friday agreement when they were still young, and the one-sided support to Ukraine right now, at the end of their life. The Ukrainian conflict is between two linguistic communities, two orthodox churches, and two slav cultures that are so close and yet have been so distant historically for at least maybe ten centuries.

U2 is bringing together and confronting music and Christianity, electronic music and Christian faith, the consciousness of the squalor of the world in Africa and other places, and the desire to correct some of the horrors of it, and yet their Obsessive-Compulsive reference to their Christian faith is slightly bothering because I am afraid they missed Jesus's love and favored Saul/Paul's narrow conception of comfortable if not cozy Christian love.

We are so little in this world – Nous sommes si peu de chose dans ce monde.

Ne croyez pas que vous survivrez à l’apocalypse. Do not believe you may survive this apocalypse.

While we are waiting for the voluminous study on Fairy Tale that is supposed to be published in Romania soon. I present you the following coverage of quite a few recent or less recent books or audiovisual productions on books by Stephen King. There are a lot of pictures but altogether it has about 90 pages or so. And practically 40,000 words.

(slightly extended) ABSTRACT

Stephen King has published more than seventy books and has had many of them adapted to the cinema and television, with some original series that have no written fictional equivalent, except one, Storm of the Century whose TV scenario was published in 1999. He is known for his horror novels, but his reach is a lot wider than that and he systematically mixes the various genres of horror, fantasy, suspense, mystery, science fiction, fantastic, and many others, in his fiction. Here I only consider his latest stand-alone novel written with no other collaborating author and not part of a series or collection like Gwendy’s Final Task, also published in 2022 but co-authored with Richard Chizmar.

I will try to show the style that used some patterns to build the architecture of the story, and in this particular novel, the use of ternary structures at all levels of the story and style seems to be fundamental. Note this ternary pattern is borrowed from the Bible and some famous fairy tales collected by the Grimm Brothers, mostly. Yet the ending brings up a problem since it locks up the two deep and deeper levels with a concrete slab, thus breaking the ternary topography. Is it meaningful about Stephen King’s fiction, or is it only a way to suspend the situation in order to produce another novel when they reopen the passage by breaking up the concrete slab, or when Gogmagog manages to escape the deeper level and manages to invade our own world?

That’s the mystery about Stephen King. His fiction is so popular and has been so much exploited on the various screens we live with that we wonder if this multifarious fiction will survive the author, even with his two sons to promote and prolong his fame, his moral rights, and his fictional intellectual property when it becomes necessary.

KEYWORDS: horror, fantasy, science fiction, magic, Bible, Revelation, Gogmagog.

This novel was very long in its process of getting up into some kind of life. It is impossible to enter the story if you do not set your mind on France a little bit in the background in 1982, represented here by a Jewish woman, Rachel Duthoit from Croix who is the daughter of a couple of Auschwitz survivors, the father Abel Duthoit telling his daughter how the victim of some torture can easily become in a different situation the torturer of someone who has become the prey, his or her prey, in the new situation. We can always find someone smaller than us and find pleasure in hassling them. There is always a torturer in every single human being.

This young woman goes to the USA for a full year of teaching at the University of California at Davis. The novel is the story of her voyage there and of one particular young Black man, Tony Hughes, she meets along the way. The situation becomes erotic very fast for Rachel Duthoit, but she finds in Tony Hughes both the man she desires and the man she cannot have or take. Racial bias? Maybe. Cultural bias? Maybe. A deeply frustrating and frustrated experience on both sides that leads to a real drama of impossible communication and exchange.

You will wonder from beginning to end whether Rachel Duthoit had the intention to bring back some real personal transformation from the USA, or whether she was going there to enjoy the change but to keep herself protected against any real transformational experience as if her personality was some kind of a ghetto to be kept protected and pristine.

Did she become the torturer of Tony Hughes, at least by refusing to yield to his desire, by rejecting him?

But why on earth did she reject him? That’s your task to find out because as for me, I cannot really reach any clear-cut conclusion.

This is the catalog of all I have published, self-published actually, since 2011 in the eBook format. Most of the titles are given with information about their contents and also some excerpts giving the stakes of these books. There is also a lot of poetry and literature, next to fundamental research books. I would advise you to just go from one page to the next and read what looks attractive to you and if you want to get the books you do not need to go to a bookstore or a supermarket where they cannot be found anyway, but just use your computer, smartphone or tablet and get to the closest Kindle shop, store, or boutique where you should find them all. Be careful though, some of the books are enormous, though you will not be able to use them to torture your neighbor. eBooks are weightless.

And best of best, if you like one of these books, you can always write a review on the Amazon site where you found it and share your likes… or dislikes…, about it with anyone who can read. And read you need since it has 84 pages with a great lot of pictures but definitely 32,187 words, which is a fair number after all. So, I can say this is a hefty present for those who have some grey matter in their brains and their minds.

So, Enjoy the vast exploration from intimate poetry to erotic literature or at least erotic characters trying to sort out from their own practice what was the dominant spiritual position of women in the Paleolithic age long… long… long… before the Peak of the Ice age.

When I think of all these anthropologists or archaeologists who cannot go beyond 12,000 BCE because they have no “written” artifact about older periods, and they take written with wide meaning, and yet they consider all those cave paintings with all sorts of scribbled geometric forms are not writing, just decorating, aren’t they?
